Interesting comment by the author. Considering that most of the Founding Fathers (eg. George Washington) believed that they were to take office reluctantly, serve judiciously, and return home, you might need to listen to his speech on the ideas of the Founding Fathers, eh?
Though I completely agree with you and GW (The 1st) most people don’t understand what a true statesman and patriot is. They don’t understand doing something for the good of the country instead of for the good of self.
The reporter of course needs to do some homework or at least listen or not comment on a beginning of a speech he missed. Maybe if he listened as a reporter should instead of having written his report before he walked in the door he might have learned something. I doubt he knows very much about the forefathers or what they actually stood for. To him its ancient boring history.
I saw an article covering Fred’s FOURTH stop on the trail yesterday.
Not two a day.
At http://www.fred08.com/Virtual/scbustour.aspx they list 9 stops in 8 cities today...
Like most presstitutes (ah, errr, reporters) in this day and age have no idea of history. They didn’t study history, hardly studies English, didn’t study math, they took journalism and I doubt hardly any failed.
