Florida Science Standards
Posted Jan. 9, 2008
The State Board of Education plans to vote in February on revisions to science standards, including more emphasis on evolution. Several things were mentioned on our Jan. 9 program (available in the archive section of F2A.ORG) that you can use in contacting them.
Calls and e-mails the next three days could be particularly effective:
An e-mail to the board members at commissioner@fldoe.org Mary Tappen (Deputy Chancellor of Secondary Refortm) at mary.tappen@fldoe.org
Board chairman T. Willard Fair at 305-696-4450
Cindy Yeager at 850-245-0834
ping request for your lists.
revisions to science standards, including more emphasis on evolutionLess physics, more biology? Is that what's going on here?
Less science more atheism - that's what's going on!
How is more evolution less science?
How is more evolution less science?

LOL. Sam, I know you’ve been around the crevo threads a time or 2. You know how Davey is going to respond. A little copy and paste from AiG, and voila, evolution is non-scientific and atheistic. Did you know it’s just a theory, which as we all know means that it is little more than a WAG.
I don’t know why so many people get so upset by all this. Almost no one remembers what is taught in high school biology class.
The only biology I remember from that class was the girl sitting beside me!
Well then you learned something about hormones. That's biology.
You appear to know as much about science as you do about atheism.
Less science = consensus not experimental facts
Why are there still Englishman?
How good of you to stay on point. Not.
C’mon, really. You have amply demonstrated my point about cut and paste from AiG. http://www.answersingenesis.org/link.asp?http://www.icr.org/article/3109/
That links to an article on the back to Genesis website that asks the exact question you posed (why are there still monkeys?) And quite the scholarly article it is. Not.
Never volunteer for “point.”
Gotcha. You have no point. Works for me.
:)
