The outrage doesn't stop there. U.S. Democratic Congressmen James McGovern, Bill Delahunt and Gregory Meeks of the United States have stated their wish to meet and negotiate with FARC representatives in Venezuela. Apparently, they insist on "concrete results" whatever that means. If these representatives from the United States meet with FARC, only FARC will benefit, as it will give credibility and legitimacy to a terrorist organization that deserves neither. Although they have no authority under U.S. law to engage in any discourse with FARC, as a matter of fact, without approval from the U.S. Department of State, it may well be illegal, the benefit to FARC will be a major propaganda coup.

What motive do the Congressmen have in meeting with FARC? One would suspect nothing more than photo ops, and good press for themselves, but at the cost of the Colombian people. If you really want to stop illegal immigration, call these creeps and tell them to support free trade agreements.

Maybe they are looking for some fresh, pure blow? On a serious note, though, FARC is about a brutal as they come and these congress critters are in over their heads.
