This article is BS, I play Mass Effect and the so called steamy session is nothing more that a hand streak on a glass privacy pane, nothing more, no humping of any sort, yes you can make a character but by most means I would hardly call it erotic.

I can’t say I think a game like this is a good idea. But the author says serial killers like porn. That’s like saying serial killers like mashed potatoes and gravy. So what?

I was once a 15 year old boy. I knew a lot of other 15 year old boys. We all liked naked chicks. None of us turned into a serial killer.

“If a pre-teen, teen, young adult, or adult male plays such a game in which the women DO submit without choice, are made to appear as Barbie streetwalkers, and perform whatever act can be imagined, what’s to stop that same male from assuming that the women in his “other world” shouldn’t be forced to do the same.”

A simply idiotic statement, even if the game did allow players to “perform whatever act can be imagined” (it doesn’t).

This article lets us know where one of those people went who used to write about the evils of comic books, and later Dungeons and Dragons. I see the quality and accuracy of their diatribes remains unchanged.

Oh great, another Jack Thompson asshat wannabe. Way to completely distort the truth in order to scare ignorant people. I’m disappointed to see that we have our own “it’s for the chirren” squad on our side as well.

Oh I don’t know. Maybe some of those teenagers will spend more time in the sex box and less time fooling around with each other.

I hear the nay-sayers claiming I'm being the wild and crazed Bible thumper I've always been

Well....the first step to recovery is recognizing the problem.

I’m going to agree with most of the posts here so far. You can’t ban the male libido. Most heterosexual men like to look at naked women. There’s good evidence to me that we’re constructed that way from the start. Banning software that allows you to create porn is like banning paper and pencils that allow you to create porn. Good luck with that.

The author leaves out the obvious truth that most men would also agree with - men have to accomodate the needs, desires, and, yes, the demands, of women, whose sexuality is operating in a far different place than a man’s sexuality. Go ahead, construct a woman whose breasts defy gravity and whose attitudes defy logic, and then see how a real woman reacts to you. The rolling of the eyes and the brief insulting laugh should be enough to change the mind of most men.

Just to balance the scales, God has also made women extremely succeptible to byzantine soap operas and romances, with the occasional murder mystery thrown in. Expect software to replicate those desires, too.

By the way, the author needs to learn that correlation is not causation. Sure, lots of serial killers like porn, but the desire for porn might emerge after, not before, the sociopathic expression of behavior.

Anyway, good luck there being the morals police for American males.
