We can do it (Yemeni Muslims for Obama)

Following the primary elections in Iowa and New Hampshire with some Yemeni friends, we became so excited that we stayed up through the night until 8 am the next morning following the updated results projected by CNN.

All of us supported Senator Obama’s candidacy for different reasons. Some of us, including myself, were attracted to Obama for his marvelous charisma and leadership skills crowned by his outstanding speaking skills. Some others supported him because they don’t believe in the ability of women to lead or rule a nation. However, what was more important was the message of his campaign and his desire for visualizing real changes to American policies to match with the clear change in American public opinion.

We were astonished when we realized the earthquake triggered by Obama in American politics. No one had imagined that the young Obama, son of an African-Muslim, would be able to compete with Hillary Clinton, financially supported by the drug companies and other giant US businessmen. Although he captured 37 percent of the Democratic vote compared to Hillary’s 39 percent in New Hampshire, a stronghold for Hillary, we all considered this result a great victory for Obama and for the American people. It is also clear that there is something big happening in the United States.

The question is whether the American people really want change. If so, they need a true leader, not a person led or dictated to by his/her team of experts.

Thus, let’s just compare the speeches between Clinton and Obama. Obama came out with a full worded address just minutes after the results were projected. His speech ‘We can do it’ changed his defeat into a victory. Obama appeared and expressed himself like a tough leader rallying his supporters. He was bold and never shaken in his shoes. In contrast, the victorious Clinton came out with a prepared speech dictated by her team, making sure she would not forget a word or a phrase of the written oratory.

Let’s quote Obama and find out the leadership language he used by heart. “A few weeks ago, no one imagined that we’d have accomplished what we did here tonight. For most of this campaign, we were far behind, and we always knew our climb would be steep.” With strongly voiced words Obama announced a lasting victory on his path to the White House, giving his supporters in New Hampshire and in the other states the hope of winning the election.

Not only this, his second sentence was stronger and full of solid facts. “But in record numbers, you came out and spoke up for change. And with your voices and your votes, you made it clear that at this moment – in this election - there is something happening in America.” As all analysts, journalists and observers confirmed the record turnout in New Hampshire, the competition between him and Hillary was tough, as both were in a close lead until the last minute. This indicates that there is, in fact, something happening in the United States. Such strong and confident expressions cannot be given but by a truly experienced, qualified, intelligent leader. Obama did not forget to mobilize and encourage his supporters to continue on the path for change. In his last phrases, he summarized the real prospects for change, affirming these changes can only be achieved when he is president. “And when I am president, we will end this war in Iraq and bring our troops home; we will finish the job against al-Qaeda in Afghanistan; we will care for our veterans; we will restore our moral standing in the world; and we will never use 9/11 as a way to scare up votes, because it is not a tactic to win an election, it is a challenge that should unite America and the world against the common threats of the twenty-first century: terrorism and nuclear weapons; climate change and poverty; genocide and disease.” These problems surrounding the United States and of the rest of the world has led to changes in American public opinion.

Can any of the Democratic candidates or the Republicans accomplish these changes? I believe in Obama and Obama alone. I doubt Hillary, Edwards, McCain, Romney or any other candidate can accomplish any of them, simply because they all graduated from the same ideological school that believes they can overcome problems by simply changing tactics but not policies. No one can beautify the distorted image of the United States over issues of democracy, freedom, and human rights since the invasion of Iraq. And none of the candidates reading from the same political book can beautify this image. Only real change will do. Obama said it clearly, “We can do it”. He said it as a leader but not a learner. He trusted the American people can accomplish their aspired change for the better. America is the leader and model for the world yet it requires change and new faces to rule the presidency. The presidency should not be inherited from father, brother, husband or wife. It is a democracy, not a monarchy. We questioned how authority could be offered to their sons and relatives after George W. Bush was elected following his father as President of the United States.

Asad of Syria inherited the chair of his father, daughter Dhya al-Haq of Pakistan succeeded her father, Bhutto succeeded her father and her son succeeded her, and the list is longer to come. Can the American people do it and say we don’t want a president that is a crown prince? Obama said it clear when he said, “Yes we can, yes we can, yes we can.” Let’s hope he can!

The United Staes IS the problem. Its insistance on personal freedom and democracy , rejection of Islamofascism, and pursuit of its enemies after 9/11 is the problem. The USA has to change. Obama can do it.Lets hope so?

Obama hates America.His actions and background make this evident. Why is this story being covered up by the MSM? Its true. Its in the British news because of Britain's close ties with Kenya.

Obama and his paternal 1st cousin Odinga, wanted to bring the whole of Kenya under Sharia law. Obama campaigned for Odinga in August of 2006,just before he filed with the US Federal Elections Commission for his presidential candidacy.

The idea was simply to have the Luo tribe, mostly Muslims, to take over Kenya from the inheritors of colonial power, the Kikuyu, and bring the country under Sharia law, kick out the Western investors in the nation that had made it one of the most stable nations in Africa, and supplant those Western investors with wealthy Arab oil money.It all failed.Then Odinga yelled election fraud, and put his Luo Islamofascists into the streets of Nairobi to "protest" by murdering, raping and maiming Kikuyu people, including the recent burning alive of a church full of Christians.

If Obama and Odinga had succeeded, the next step in the plan would be for president Obama to help Odinga consolidate his power over Kenya by international recognition and trade. That will NOT happen. Obama wanted to expand Islamofascism, and annex Kenya to Somalia and the Sudan in an Islamofascist axis.

This puts both Obama and Odinga right up there in a pantheon with Idi Amin.Obama hates America, and the basis for America's wealth. His actions show this.

Ask yourself why black America generally has been ambivalent about Obama's candidacy. They know the nature of this creature. Whitey is simply catching up, but will whitey do so in time?

It’s extremely curious that he has all these foreign fans, all of whom are Muslims. He has fans in Indonesia, and now fans in Yemen, a state with a history of terrorism.

And he has friendly relations with his Muslim cousin Odinga in Kenya, who was involved in the recent church burnings and murders of Christian women and children there by supporters who were angry that he failed to be elected president.

If Muslims all over the world view him as one of them, it’s curious that the American press hasn’t noticed.

The entire above paragraph reads like every other announcement they make, they cloak it as a "peoples victory", in reality they see it as the next step in a thousand year quest to restore the calliphate.

In the past six months I’ve traveled almost every Country in the world and I have not found any animosity about the USA.

While the economist say the US Dollar is weak, it was my experience everyone wanted USD, not Euros. Maybe they just don’t understand the sophisticated economies of the world.

Most people that I met would love nothing more than to come to the USA.

They have more curiosity than animosity, IMHO.

The Odinga connection in Kenya seems really significant. These other fan articles in Muslim newspapers might just be wishful thinking.

But it does seem odd that Muslims, who are usually outraged if anyone leaves the Muslim faith, and start issuing Fatwas (since the usual penalty for apostasy from Islam is death) don’t seem to be bothered in Obama’s case.

The main stream media in this country is doing what it did when Kennedy, Carter, Clinton were running...they knew the down side to these men, but chose not to print anything about their short comings till after they’d been elected.

I don't know how factual this is, but part of this has been posted before and I think it needs to be looked in to...I'm not proficient enough on the net to do it. If the media were doing their job they’d be digging into that church in Chicago that Hussein Obama belongs to and has such a close relationship with the pastor....that Church recognized and honored Louis Farrakhan with a “Lifetime Achievement Award”....I find it very troubling that Barack Hussein Obama claims to disavow his Muslim ties, but what church does he join...one where the pastors proclamations read like one of Louie Farrakhan’s hate America, hate Whitey speeches...I got some of this info from another post on FR and from a conversation on Jan Mickelson’s radio program...

To even contemplate Obama being President scares the living heck out of me. Will there be that many Americans who are nothing but pathetic sheep and vote for this man? They had best do their home work.

Another thing, a week or so ago, when the unrest and rioting in Kenya made the news, I heard that Obama said he’d been in contact with the Kenyan officials to get the latest and see how he could help the situation....and our media was over there interviewing his biological father and grandmother...what the heck is THAT all about?
