A leading Democratic candidate for president attends an Afrocentric church that bestows awards on Louis Farrakhan and practically defines itself through race-baiting. Burt Prelutsky asks, why isnt Barack Obamas faith-based problem making national headlines and the nightly news?
One of the obvious differences between Democrats and Republicans is the role that religion plays in their presidential campaigns. For instance, every Democrat, while pretending to believe that separation of church and state actually appears somewhere in the Constitution, must also insist that religion plays an essential role in his or her life. But just about the only time you see them going to church is when theyre posing for the cameras while addressing a black Baptist congregation.
Whats more, when questioning these people, the liberal media kindly limits itself to a yes or no question regarding the existence of God.
Why is it, I wonder, that nobody is asking Barack Obama about his religious convictions?
For over 20 years, Sen, Obama has been a faithful member of Chicagos Trinity United Church of Christ. The other day, I paid a visit to Trinitys website.
Now, my own reasons for hoping that Sen. Obama is not elected president next November are pretty much the same reasons I object to Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. I consider all three of them to be anti-military, tax raising, left-wing flyweights who would bury this country in entitlements while essentially ignoring Islamic fascism.
That being said, I have no idea how a member of a black church that apparently feels it owes greater allegiance to Africa than to America and that pays homage to a bigot like Farrakhan, has the gall to present himself as the one candidate who can bring us all together.

I agree about Obama. I agree, as we used to say in the military, “Most affirmatively.”
It appears hes a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Or a Muslim Trojan Horse .
It's my understanding that TUCC has revised its website recently toning down its message just as scrutiny of the site began to increase. From what I can recall, its message was previously much more strident than it appears today. I'm quite certain that somebody has the original site captured somewhere but I'm not sure where to look for it.
I expect it to appear on the Saturday before Super Tuesday so that it can be 'discussed' extensively on the Sunday talk shows.
My bet is that hillary already has a plant in there so that Mr. O has no chance of getting the nomination.
Let’s wait a few months before bringing this to the forefront.
I don't think the Republicans will get a chance to reveal it. I expect hillary to do it (anonymously, of course) just before Super Tuesday.
Islam, meets Marx/Lenin!
Think : Huma Abedin...
and apparently a senior Pentagon muslim in charge of...
( Off on another search : let me know if you can recall his name , please )
Hasham Islam? He’s the Deputy Defense Secretary’s aide.
Thanks : That is the one.
In today’s Washington Times “Inside the Ring” column of Bill Gertz, there is disclosure of an alleged effort by an aide to Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon R. England, Hasham Islam, to have Coughlin ‘ease up’ on his criticism of Islam.
Why? Because Hasham Islam, is endeavoring to protect an effort by his boss, Deputy Secretary England, to reach out to the American Muslim community.
looks like you’ve found it. :’)

Yes : It is nice having smart friends.
I particularly detest being bullied into saying "African American" instead of the single syllable "black". Black and white. It's about race, after all, for all the pretenses otherwise.
And I know a few white Americans from Africa!
The 10 tenants of Obamas church you posted are fascist. Look at hose of the Nazi Party and you can see some similarieties to the tenants of Obamas church.
And you can also get a good idea about the "changes" Obama would make should he become president.

The program of the German Workers' Party is an epochal program.
The leaders reject the idea of setting up new goals after those included in the program have been achieved merely in order to make possible the further existence of the Party by artificially inducing discontent among the masses.
1. We demand the union of all Germans in a Great Germany on the basis of the principle of self-determination of all peoples.
2. We demand that the German people have rights equal to those of other nations; and that the Peace Treaties of Versailles and St. Germain shall be abrogated.
3. We demand land and territory (colonies) for the maintenance of our people and the settlement of our surplus population.
4. Only those who are our fellow countrymen can become citizens. Only those who have German blood, regardless of creed, can be our countrymen Hence no Jew can be a countryman.
5. Those who are not citizens must live in Germany as foreigners and must be subject to the law of aliens.
6. The right to choose the government and determine the laws of the State shall belong only to citizens. We therefore demand that no public office, of whatever nature, whether in the central government, the province. or the municipality, shall be held by anyone who is not a citizen.
We wage war against the corrupt parliamentary administration whereby men are appointed to posts by favor of the party without regard to character and fitness.
7. We demand that the State shall above all undertake to ensure that every citizen shall have the possibility of living decently and earning a livelihood. If it should not be possible to feed the whole population, then aliens (non-citizens) must be expelled from the Reich.
8. Any further immigration of non-Germans must be prevented. We demand that all non-Germans who have entered Germany since August 2, 1914, shall be compelled to leave the Reich immediately.
9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.
10. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all.

3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness"
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.
Now, substitute the word "white" for the word "black" in any of the above statements, and associate with any other candidate's campaign, and you can bet your last dollar they'd be labeled a racist.
But this is Barak O'Bama we're talking about, media darling, and he gets a pass.
Nice that his Church changes their mission statement days after winning the Iowa primaries. How convenient.
