Why not drop the pretenses and just allow the media to pick the President?

We already are, quite literally and explicitly.

With the complete cooperation and connivance of the Republican Party.

They have already picked McCain/Clinton. Two crazies will create a lot of air time for the MSM and cable news.

I agree. And I note that you didn’t use the sarcasm tag, which was unnecessary.

Yep - the same GOP that ignored Tennessee Senate candidate Van Hilleary in the primary last year, in favor of RINO Bob Corker. Were it not for the fact that the democRAT opponent, Ford, was an obvious crook, they'd have lost that seat as well.

It's the party's favorite tactic - run the conservatives out of the party in favor of "liberal lite". And they wonder why so many have given up contributing to the party.

The MSM had picked their top three candidates on both sides of the aisle before the first debate. This was evident to me the first time each candidate was alloted to speak. Certain candidates were allowed more questions and responses than others until they were finally eliminated all together from the debates.

Considering Fred missed the first debate, his time would have been slightly higher, but it doesn’t matter, he too will be pushed out in favor of the more liberal Republican candidates.

This country will elect exactly what we deserve.

But I will not be to blame. I will vote for Duncan in the Primaries.
