No. The Bedouin is annoyed that the USA has trade routes with Asia that do not go through Arab territory. Oil gave them the podium again for a while but they know if there is enough trouble the USA will actually go ahead with the old 1948 plan to develop synth fuel plants and that will be that. It will always be a source of annoyance that Columbus was successful and the Pres will always keep his head down.
