Ron Paul’s supporters will tell you that he’s a Libertarian, not a Republican. Ron does not belong in the debate. Hunter does.

But Paul is more of an embarassment to the GOP than Hunter and Hunter poses a challenge to the status quo candidates.

I think both of them should be included in the debate.

What's really embarrassing is that several successive Republicans ran on smaller-government platforms, then ballooned government during their administrations. Paul is just holding these guys to their promises.

Paul is a libertarian, not a Libertarian. He disagree with the LP on numerous issues including abortion and not allowing illegal immigration.

I think they're including Ron Paul in the hopes he will say something outlandish.

Including Paul is a mistake.

I had hoped ABC would follow the FOX News lead and cut the debate to 5 like they did with the DEms. The Democrats will get better coverage because only 5 share the spotlight and time. Paul doesn’t belong in the Republican Debate anyway since he is more Libertarian than Republican.

Which is exactly why Duncan Hunter is being deliberately silenced and excluded. Heck, they don’t even want to MENTION or show his name as candidate!
