Thank you. I think he is a real artist. Most of his portraits are works of art. He took the uglyist “street people” into his studio and photographed them in B & W and his showing of those has gained him a lot of attention. They are stunning. I don’t think he has any of them on his web site because they are a grouping for competition. He made a collage of them for sale at Christmas last year and gave the money to the street people in the pictures.
It is brilliant to continue photographing in black-and-white. And, also, remember sepia? I have some of those old family photos in sepia. I also like hand-tinted portrait photos; I’m very fond of those. That is a nearly lost art at this point.
