The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled illegal immigrants have a right to an education, so schools don't ask about immigration status.

Why? Does the Mexican government have pictures of the justices in compromising positions?

Nothing in terms of “positions” would compromise Bader Ginzberg ~ she is, of course, shameless, but I bet they know where she buys the poison to put in her hubby’s morning coffee.

Because the 14th A. makes a clear distinction between citizens and residents in jurisdictions.

"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

The ruling came in the wake of California Prop. 187, which denied state services, such as public schooling, to illegal aliens.
