FReeper Canteen:
Do You Have the Christmas Spirit?
|
Since my thread falls on the eve of Christmas Day and the 26TH is a second day in most European countries, where Christmas is celebrated ,I thought that we should find out if we are in the Christmas Spirit.
|
So Today We Want To Know... If You Are In The Christmas Spirit.
Click here and take the quiz! At the last question, choose HTML, then submit, to get your answer. After you do so, please post your findings in the Canteen! Have fun! |

One thing for darn sure, I will raise my 35% clear up to near 100% the very first Christmas!!! They are going to have to build a new power plant to supply my house!
Seriously, I want to return to the old fashioned Christmases I grew up with, lots of homemade candies and food, visiting around with the neighbors, playing cards and just relaxed socializing. Also getting my kids home for the holidays and having time to spend with them.
More company here, gotta go. Merry Christmas, Mrs. Nooseman, and thanks for this thread, I will return when things quiet down for the evening.

Sorry, completely wrong (I realize my case may be an exception to the quiz's assumptions):
You don't go over the top celebrating, and by December 26th, you're ready to pack away your decorations.
Until Christmas Day it is Advent, not Christmas. And because the tree-sellers here shut down their way over-priced operations before the 24th, we often go without a tree. Okay, lights go up at the beginning of Advent but that's (mainly) because winters are so dark here. And they (and the tree) remain up until the 12 Days of Christmas end, also known as Epiphany (following Twelfthnight).
