I don’t think Rush is coming back on air until January 3rd. Isn’t that when the Iowa caucus is?

“I think hes (Rush) been great for the conservative movement.”
He IS the conservative movement you google-eyed toad.

If our party nominates that malicious little goober, Huckabee, we deserve to lose. We will have confirmed the worst stereotypes about conservatives.

He can offer the olive branch, but he can’t change himself into the conservative he claims to be but which he is not.

Must be tough to get up every day and have to deal with the garbage you created the day before.
Think about all he could do dealing with 80 or so nations. He could be backtracking every day.

I will give these Arkansas conmen, W.Clinton, Huckabee and H. Clinton, one thing, they have nerve. A little chat with Limbaugh will not change that article Huckabee, nor his actions as governor of Arkansas nor his views on illegal aliens, etc.

Not only has the Huckster p*ssed off 20 million Rush listeners, but now that he has extended an olive branch half of the middle of the road/independents
won’t vote for him because of their blind hatred for Rush. He’s toast. I hope.

I’m really starting to get worried about some of my friends who support Huckabee. Man, this guy would get slaughtered in the GE. And it would be of his own doing.

Is this Huck’s Sista Soulja moment?
Distancing himself from the “right-wing” crazies (Read: conservatives)?

Rush has maintained he is not criticizing Huckabee so it will be interesting to see how Rush responds but he is on vacation next week.

Does anybody here actually know a Huckabee supporter? I've never seen a case where a candidate is apparently polling well, but nobody will admit supporting him. Even my normally Christian Right type relatives have no use for him. You would also think at least one or two supporters would show up on a forum as influential as FR occasionally.
It's obvious there is no way a character such as this, that is distained by a large number of his own party's supporters, couldn't rally the troops in a contest against the Beast, the Silky Pony, or Alfred E. Newman. The sooner he gets the Howard Dean treatment, the better.
