So he was okay with having a McDonald’s restaurant in Germany, but not with hearing people speak English in it?
To: camerakid400
I wonder what Buchanan and Sobran will think of this???

So he was okay with having a McDonald’s restaurant in Germany, but not with hearing people speak English in it?Good point. It's like an American going to a Taco Bell, and getting upset because a customer is speaking Spanish. Even with the current anti-illegal mood, that's just not likely to ever happen.

Suspect that the vast majority of Americans—who would have immigrants use American English here—wouldn’t go so far as to consider being violent toward those using a foreign language outside of the home.

Zionist conspiracy to make neo-nazis look bad!!!!!

Taco Bell is American. Apparently some Mexicans are offended that Taco Bell is about to open branches in Mexico. They see it as an insult to Mexican cuisine. (only a few minutes, and already comment hogging.....).

"... The assailant, described as having short blonde hair, used an epithet, calling him an 'Englander,' and said, 'This is Germany. German must be spoken.' After the assailant said 'Heil Hitler' and did a Nazi salute, the victim replied..." ... "Sauerkraut un der Hassenfeffer mit der Weinerschnitzel auf der Rutabaga un der train leafink on track nein for Anaheim, Azusa, und Cucamonga!"
Well, that's what I woulda said anyway.

'This is Germany. German must be spoken.' The only reason it is "Germany" and not some province of the Soviet Union and he required to speak Russian is thanks to the English speaking nations of the World...but I am sure that is lost on Mr. "Heil Hitler".

Taco Bell was started in 1962 in California. A better example would be going into a Taco Bell in Kentucky and complaining that patrons are speaking Californian, or going into a Wal Mart and complaining that customers are speaking Chinese.

Time to fire up the B-17s.

The point isn’t the nationality of the restaurant ownership, but rather the nationality of the cusine. Getting upset when Japanese is spoken at a Sushi place is wrong regardless of who owns the joint.

"...Hey, we couldnt have won our independence without the French...." I called Burger King's headquarters in Miami today. (1-877-271-0493). "Press 1 for English, press 2 for French!"
