If this story has legs, then I'll be keeping abreast of it.
McCain has personally pleaded with NY TIMES editor Bill Keller not to publish the high-impact report involving key telecom legislation before the Senate Commerce Committee, newsroom insiders tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
&&&&&&
Here is something to make you chuckle: NYTimes “insiders” are “leaking” to Drudge!!!!
Poor McCain must be having flashbacks by now at the treatment he is getting from the media that used to call him “maverick McCain” in a loving manner.
Poor Republican fools.
Well, that settles it.
McCain, drop out now.
Oh, and endorse Fred. ;-)
I would assume so...
What's worse, the story itself or the non-whisper whisper campaign about the story that isn't even published?
As it is now, everybody is talking about a story that the NYT hasn't published, which is probably worse than if the NYT had published the story first. Now, they don't even have to run the story, but the net effect is still the same.

John McCain is a world class genius for finally embracing his POW story and putting it in his ads. That’s how he can win the chick vote: http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Multimedia/
I don’t get what the controversy with the NY Times is. If it’s really complicated, no one will care.
Photo of hot babe + Photo of John McLame = Toast.
Talk about Rush’s addiction?
Rush never stole drugs out of Red Cross packages. McCain’s second wife did.
Do you think that is equivalent to using viagra or going to an astrologist?
We’ll we just might see tomorrow
“NYT PLANNING FRIDAY PUBLICATION, SOURCES TELL DRUDGE... DEVELOPING... “
Freddie! Babyeeee!
Here Comes another Bush/Cheney Surge!
Gettin’ kinda interesting.
It’s in the Washington Post, now. But still, there are no specific allegations.

Well, that settles it.
McCain, drop out now.

Well...I am hurt...the system is rejecting my keyword...hmmm!
I would not like to be a member of the ping list.
I guess I coulda remained silent, but I figured I would give you a bump.
:-)
Of course he’s taking everything very seriously sitetest. He’s running a presidential campaign. He’s talking with the NY Times, so what? I don’t care for this politics of personal destruction, and that’s what this is. I don’t care who the candidate is.
Don’t know. I hate to say it... but they’ve messed with the wrong guy; Mc can snap once in a while.
Bingo on Boeing.

re: Rutenberg had hoped to break the story before the Christmas holiday, sources reveal, but editor Keller expressed serious reservations about jounalism eithics and issuing a damaging story so close to an election.
I have a lot of thread to catch up on... but that there’s funny.
