EL DORADO, Kan. (Dec. 19) - A man suspected in the slaying of a college student who led a secret life as an Internet porn performer was arrested Wednesday in Mexico, authorities said.
Israel Mireles, 24, was arrested on a Butler County homicide warrant in Melchor Muzquiz, Mexico, and was being held there pending extradition, U.S. Deputy Marshal Logan Kline said.
Emily Sander, 18, was last seen alive on Nov. 23 when she left an El Dorado bar with a man police identified as Mireles.
The disappearance of the Butler Community College student drew nationwide attention after the discovery that she also led a secret life as an Internet pornography model named Zoey Zane.
Her body was found six days later, about 50 miles east of El Dorado, as police traced the route they believed Mireles took to pick up his 16-year-old girlfriend, Victoria Martens, in Baxter Springs.

There are other US citizen fugitives of the law here in Mexico, as well as some of our good Mexican citizens rather than go to Mexican prisons, opted to change names and live in New Jersey, and work selling pizzas.

I was going to note that there isn’t much point in being a porn “star” if you keep it secret. “Star” kind of implies that people actually watch your movies.
And unless she wears a mask, it’s not like in the comics where glasses hide Superman’s secret identity.
Her relatives thought she was a simple college student. Now she’ll always be known as the murdered porn star. Nice legacy to leave your grieving family.

Star? Why is it that every skank who ever made a dirty movie is a porn ‘star?’ Is stardom something automatic in the dirty movie business? Is every performer a ‘star?’ Or are there lesser performers who might qualify for supporting porn roles?

For the most part the Mexican nationals who come here are industrious hard working motivated people.
The twin problems are the illegal status of so many of them, and that there are so many of them.
