I did a search and saw nothing posted so I went ahead and posted it.
I'm not sorry to see Lott go. He becamse a king of earmarks and his attitude towards GOP activists was, at best, condescending.
I hope the GOP can retain his seat with someone who will uphold real GOP values.
Comments or opinions - anyone?

Saw this the first post late last night just before going to bed. My thoughts were simply “Oh...OK...Buh bye, and good riddance.”

Lott has done some good things in hi career. But his nonsense on amnesty was enough for me.

Taxed2Death said it was Trent Lott that promised the border fence money would be gutted.
Is that recall correct?
Is THIS why Lott had to retire, real quick?

I think deep down he’s a good guy, but he’s been in Washington way too long.

He’s been in the Senate since ‘88 and before that, he was in the House since 1972.
That’s definitely too long.
