I traveled with a musical group from the age of 15.
Then hubby and I traveled for three years when we
first got married. We did the whiskey clubs back
in the 70’s when they had dance floors in the dinner
houses.

Traveling is an AWFUL life. Nearly broke up our
marriage. But... we just celebrated our 32nd.
I still have a recording company.

Then there’s the reverse route, as in Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours sessions. Everybody in the bank breaks up and then goes off to make an album. Touring, recording, lots of angst.
