While I think this is great - I would like to see the USO also get their hinies out of the US and to the troops in the war zones - it’s an absolute scandal, their lack of support in the field for our troops who have no other R&R...

Bill O’Reilly FINALLY got wind of this and grilled the head of the USO and would not accept his lily livered excuses for not sending shows to Iraq and Afghanistan. O’Reilly promised he was going to follow up - I hope he does.

In the meantime, way up here in Maine - the effort by the funded USO pales in comparison to what has been happening at the Bangor International Airport for the entire duration = by UNfunded citizens -

“Troop greeters in Bangor hit 500,000 mark “

“... regardless of weather conditions or time of day or night, the troop greeters have turned out to welcome military personnel on more than 1,800 flights. “
