Three Anti-Gun Bills Looming Over New Jersey! On Monday, December 17, at 10:00 a.m., the New Jersey Senate Law and Public Safety and Veterans’ Affairs Committee is scheduled to consider three bills that impact law-abiding gun owners. Please immediately contact the members of that committee and urge them to OPPOSE or AMEND the following legislation:

S2470 - This bill would criminalize the transfer of ammunition to anyone who does not have a valid New Jersey firearms ID card, handgun carry or purchase permit, or hunting license. While intended to prevent criminals from obtaining ammunition, the legislation would only impact honest gun owners, since criminals are unlikely to purchase ammunition in New Jersey because of the mandatory reporting of all ammunition sales as required by state law. This bill should be defeated or amended so as not to affect law-abiding citizens. Please urge the committee to oppose this legislation!
S2934 - This bill would make honest gun owners responsible for the acts of criminals if they fail to “immediately” report the theft or loss of a firearm that is later used in a crime. Styled as legislation requiring the reporting of stolen or lost firearms, the legislation would hold victims of theft responsible for the acts of criminals. Possible amendments to this bill are under consideration. Please urge the committee to oppose or amend this bill.
S2431 - This bill is an overly broad attempt to address gang violence that could have unintended consequences for honest gun owners. Among other things, it would criminalize and severely punish the mere possession of certain firearms, including registered handguns, even while engaged in lawful activities. As originally drafted, the bill puts law-abiding gun owners at risk of a potential 10-year prison sentence and a $150,000 fine. Please urge the committee to oppose or amend the bill to protect honest gun owners.

Gun laws. Some states just keep piling one on top of another. Pretty soon, the lefties will win the gun battle.

Ammo truly is the currency of the future and would make a great stocking stuffer this Christmas. Get it while you can.
As a Jewess in the US, I am offended by rabid, self-righteous “laws” penned by people totally ignorant of guns, such as listed in the article above. I call on the Liberal Media Monolith to STOP its lies! Now is the time for ALL Americans to put our 2nd Amendment FIRST!
Laws attempting to control ammunition are focussing the attention on law-abiding gun owners who shoot probably 99.9999 percent of all ammunition.
Liberals would be the source of great humor if it were not for their dangerous ideas.
What they don’t understand is that this ammo bill will have huge repercussions on Sporting Clay shooting. M and M Hunting Preserve in Southern New Jersey is one of the premier sporting clay facilities in the country and this bill will hinder their ability to have tournaments. What these Northern New Jersey legislators do not realize is that these ridiculous bills they propose to try and show that they are doing something to dig their horrid, crime filled districts out of the gutter even though it is pointless. These insane bills hurt small communities that rely on events like those held at M and M to provide much needed local revenue. Contact your representatives early Monday morning there is still time to impact this bill before it gets heard in committee.
So if I, a former holder of a NJ FID card that was never renewed because I left that ($hithole) state, were to travel to NJ by automobile to visit my aged parents, and they decided to give me their guns and ammo, then I, a holder of a Texas CHL (meaning that I went through a state and FBI background check) and a licensed attorney (meaning that I cannot have a criminal record) would be breaking this proposed law?
Nothing like confirming that I made a good decision to leave the Peoples Republic of New Jersey.
