Strange that HGTV is only running this White House Christmas special three times this year. In past years I swear they've run it 10 or more times during December...
FYI for those interested...
That’s what we serve at all our buffets, too ;)
The poor freezing bunny and cardinal.
.
I want the “Crispy Chicken-Fried Steak Fingers with Creamed Pan Drippings.” Must be a Texas specialty.
that looks like about the only ‘common folk’ item on the menu!
Ham and Grits? That’s common.
Anyone know if the Whitehouse is doing the “Barney Christmas” video this year? Those are always cute.
“Ham and Grits? Thats common.”
Common South of Mason-Dixon. Grew up in NY and never saw grits in my LIFE till a visit to NC. Now, of course, I’m an ardent fan.
Yankees call it Polenta.
The Barney Cam is up on the White House.gov website.
Thanks
Polenta is similar to grits, but not really the same thing. Polenta is thick as cement!
bump...for Christmas at “The People’s House”
I’ll take the homemade tamales. Mmmm!
