Why, oh why, do so many "good ol' boys" down there vote Democrat in state and local elections, when all its brought them is licenses for felons, food stamp fraud, and the 10th highest tax burden in the US?

Bars and strip joints all along the road. Young men in colors piled in the cars with N.C. plates.
N.C. kinda fell off the radar news wise when the black market cigarette ring was exposed and connected to the Michigan and Lackawanna cell. But I do remember food stamps being mentioned on the black market then too when that was in the news.
