Yeah, most people here are behind the times. "Global warming" is no longer about hot temperatures. Instead it is about extremes (or any unusual weather at all, anywhere in the world). This lets the activists use practically anything to push their agenda. Anything with "record breaking" in a weather story is fair game. This story can easily be spun to be a global warming story.

Exactly, it has already happened in my lifetime; I remember clearly sitting outside my tent and measuring each gallon of ice as it melted during those long, mosquito-infected summers and then huddling around just two charcoal briquets for weeks on end counting the gallons comung back to breed new ice once again as the long night settled in.

Not one gallon was lost on my watch. /sarc
