I agree with your point about it not being good to have “praise reports” when some people have actually died. Especially when it’s coming from second hand information.
That being said, no matter what your operating philosophy is during times of crises your going to have questions with regard to free will or determinism and adding the possible of “divine intervention” anywhere just complicates it even more.
I have NO apologies for PRAISE REPORTS THAT MORE WEREN’T KILLED.
I have NO apologies for PRAISE REPORTS THAT GOD HAD A SHARPSHOOTER IN PLACE AHEAD OF TIME WHO DID A GREAT JOB WHEN THE TIME CAME.
I have NO apologies for PRAISING GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS regardless of what others think or what circumstances look like.
The chaff or worse of naysaying opinions do not greatly move me . . . except perhaps . . . in disgust.
For a Christian it is good to praise God in ALL circumstances. He says to do that in His Word. It’s good to have something positive to thank Him for during these difficult times. I praise God more weren’t killed and I ask Him to comfort those who have lost loved ones and for the church that was attacked by this madman.
