From my vague recollection, yes, gun laws were passed after Columbine. I lived in Colorado at the time...I seem to recall participating in a vote concerning gun control measures back then.

Our friends the Brady's have a handy page for each state that lists their various pet law projects and whether or not the state has implemented them at www.stategunlaws.org. Colorado looks pretty good to me, though it's no Texas.

Colorado’s not a bad state, all in all. However, liberals have moved into town and set up shop and ARE ruining the state. Denver’s a prime example, as is Golden, where nutjobs like to live. Denver is a place where you’re not allowed to carry (IIRC) in city limits.

The Berzerkely type of crowd is coming into Colorado and destroying it as a once fairly socially conservative state, albeit a swing state. But it’s “swing state” dependency was almost always dependent weighted upon the more conservative politican, regardless of political affiliation. Therefore, if a conservative Democrat ran against a liberal Republican, the conservative won.

But, thanks to the cockroaches coming in from California, that’s all changing.
