No need to get snippy, r9. Did they change the gun laws after Columbine or not? I did hear they passed the "make my day" laws but what about concealed carry?

If there are more shots ringing out I hope it's from an armed citizen who is shooting back.

From my vague recollection, yes, gun laws were passed after Columbine.

I lived in Colorado at the time...I seem to recall participating in a vote concerning gun control measures back then.

after taking an NRA Pistol course
and clean backgound, five years ago .

Our conceal carry law went from “may” to “shall”. It became easier to get a CCW, not more difficult.

Actually, you’re right on target. In the most recent legislative session, the RAT controlled legislature passed a law, signed by RAT governor Strickland, which says that CO will no longer honor CCW permits from a state where the permit holder is not a resident. What this means is that CO no longer recognizes my FL non-resident permit.
