Both Liberty Rocks and your comments K4 have been very cogent and excellent points of view. Who knows the answers for sure why kids do these shootings... perhaps that evil dark influences are the driving forces. Notice how these shooters end up killing themselves too....it’s similar to suicide bombers on a mission and they serve their purpose killing others and themselves dying as their endgame in their twisted pursuit of purpose.

I don't think there are any similiarities at all, really; these kids typically have a long history of serious mental problems, while studies of Palestinian suicide bombers finds them to generally have been completely sane.

I would have to disagree with ya there Stratergerist. I would consider the suicide bombers having indications of being brainwashed. They are usually outsiders, devoted to a cause, and their leaders are probably feeding off of hate and fear. I wouldn't consider the leaders charismatic, like those of cult leaders in American society, but definitely have some power over their following.

tflabo, when you wrote "... they serve their purpose killing others and themselves dying as their endgame in their twisted pursuit of purpose...", suicide prevents analyzation, being held accountable, and facing consequences by authorities and society. The purpose, whether a self-imposed agenda, or serving a crazy leader...carries the evil undertone and agenda..to me, that indicates involvement from satan. That's why I propose the biblical perspective because the socialogical or even criminology perspective NEVER address evil. When sociologsts asks WHY, they are only looking for behavioural cause and effect of group activity, and the only time they recognize religious issues (or a religious factor) is when the group is or is not a part of a religious organization. Granted, sociology is useful, but it doesn't and never will recognize the root cause of violent crime. Why does violence happen? Because of human nature and satan.
