My daughter mentioned that last night... She asked “I wonder if this person would’ve been charged with a hate crime”. If there indeed is a second person in custody (has this been confirmed?), and he turns out to be a white male, then odds are the answer will be “no” even if it is shown that he had anti-Christian beliefs. And especially not if he self-identified as a Christian at any point in his life...
