Somehow, I don't think it's going to work this time. If anything, policemen who attend church are probably going to be asked by their pastors to carry their weapons, and I for one would be absolutely for it.
My pastor, Keith Butler, is the pro-gun Republican who ran in the primary for Senate in 2006. He asks those of us who are cops and ex-cops with CCWs to carry and sit in strategic spots. We call it the “Ministry of Defense.”
