The arrested 15 members of a Wahhabi terror group have been charged by the Serbian authorities for planning terror attacks on various locations in the capital Belgrade that were to include bombings of the US Embassy in Serbia.
According to the indictment, the arrested Muslims have engaged in terror planning and the evidence includes confiscated weapons, various communication intercepts between the members inside Serbia, Bosnia and Saudi Arabia and detailed maps with specific markings for potential targets.
"The indicted ones have established a close network with the similarly minded individuals, commanders, ideologues and mentors abroad - in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Saudi Arabia, with whom they were communicating through telephones, email and otherwise, and through the recorded commands on CDs," says the office of the prosecutor that has charged the men.
The 15 Muslim men that are charged are led by Senad Ramovic from Novi Pazar located in the Serbian southern region of Raska where rival Muslim groups have recently engaged in mutual violence. The authorities in Serbia say that Ramovic was planning to assassinate the rival Muslim leader Mufti Muamar Zukorlic.
One of the accused, Senad Vjeselovic, says that the group was in close contact with various radicals in Mecca and Madina, both in Saudi Arabia, who were transmitting orders from "Sheiks" on whether Mufti Zukorlic should be assassinated or not.
Serbian authorities have also found maps in the confiscated computer owned by Mehmed Koljšija, a member of the terror group. The maps identified locations inside the city of Belgrade such as the Theater, Beogradjanka building, Hotel Park and the US Embassy.
When asked why did his computer have the marked maps, Koljšija said that he likes those particular maps as well as the marked buildings but could not recall where did he download the maps from.
Authorities have also confiscated various weapons that can fully arm anywhere between 30 to 40 individuals.

Please don’t forget to thank TROP Bush too, lest some of us think you are being disingenuous. The coming real explosion in the Balkans will be “Bush’s fault” (I’m not being sarcastic).
Interesting the total break between international relations and the professional work of the police. They will do their job and do it well and maybe discuss their gov’t and the USA around the dinner table. Lot’s of opinions but all that is way above everybody’s paygrade and they are well aware of that.

We in the West cannot fathom the hatred that some Muslims have against BOTH the US and Serbia, it’s as if we are a sort of “Dudley doo Right” that simply doesn’t “get it”.
They are just heathen savages, much like those portrayed in “Apocolypto”. I think they are past the point of missionaries having any influence though.
At some point it may be too late to “get it”.

Yeah ... I have never quite understood this one. I figured the impeached President had an excuse -- he needed a distraction from his other ineptitudes, and it was an easy way to pander to the european statists that were pleading for USA help in whacking Serbia (for various allegations ... of which, I'm not sure how many were actually true).
But President Bush has been a major disappointment in this area.
Perhaps in the 'grand scheme' of things he perceives its a way to insulate the US from charges of being anti-Islam, thus Kosovo/Balkans were to be sacrificed to make this point... But I can't believe this is the reason -- because its just too retarded...(because the fact is -- Mohammedanism IS our enemy)...
I'm just going to chalk this one up again to an out of control State Department (or a State Department that actively works against our Country's interests) driving the agenda. No excuse for this either. President Bush is in charge, and he has had ample time (if not political support) to make changes.
Well here's hoping and praying that Mohammedanism doesn't spread through the Balkans AND that we aren't actively supporting the spread of this virulent disease (or, IF we insist on being on the wrong side, at least we confine our 'support' to lip service).
I wish they wouldnt have stopped them. Let the US embassy get a taste of their own medicine.

I’m afraid there will be a big war in the Balkans and it will be 100% the responsibility of the U.S. Without Turkey involved, it will be the end of Mohammedanism anywhere in the Balkans. With Turkey involved, Russia will almost assurdly come in. What will that mean? The last time trouble in the Balkans got Russia in a war, the result wasn’t what most people expected, but this time I think it will write finish to the 600 year old Turkish Mohammedan infection of the region. I’d like to think our government has the brains to stay out of such a fight, but it doesn’t. It will choose Mohamedanism’s side. Where the American people will side is quite another matter.
Look at the dude with the beard! Such facial hair screams “Jihad!” and stands out like a sore thumb over there. My pick for the Dumbest Terrorist. The “sleepers” not yet caught would be well advised to get out of Serbia as fast as s_it out of a goose.
