The map’s nuts. There’s no evidence the Norse ventured beyond the coasts of northeastern North America, and the placing of Helluland, Markland, and Vinland on the Pacific Ocean is farcical.
Actually, there is such evidence. I don’t know of any evidence for having those placenames in NW North America though.
