When you mentioned 'starting' to work on Connecticut a couple of years ago and not being inspired to finish it, I sort of understand that, but as I got more and more into this one, it really made me sit up and wonder why New England had just never been on my radar before. I see the attraction now. :)

I know that history is not your favorite thing, and I hated it in school, but I have come to appreciate it more and more over the years. New England is where our democracy was born and that part of the country holds a fascination for me. My roots, on both sides of my family (and JK's family, too) go way back in New England. It's a shame that I have been able to spend so little time in that part of the country.

We are thinking of taking a trip back there, maybe next summer, but are having a hard time planning our itinerary. Two weeks just isn't going to be long enough to see everything we want to see - especially now that I need to put Connecticut on the list. :-(
