Well, at least you are pretty sure of the source of your allergic reaction, and that's a good thing. Glad the benadryl took care of the hives, as they are not comfortable at all. I can't imagine 5 weeks of hives though!
So glad you like the soft wildflowers - wanted them to just be a small added touch and not try to showcase them all by themselves - that's your job! :)

You know, it just occurred to me that “one” of the reasons I’m so enchanted with Connecticut is that NAME.....”beside the long tidal river” - it sounds so romantic. :)

It does, doesn't it? That was one of the interesting things I learned when doing the research.
Have you been there? Have you lived there? That's not your home, is it?
I was surprised to learn that many celebrities have made their homes there - not born there - but moved there.
