Hi Dita There are a lot of nearby places that are nice to visit. I use to go a lot as younger person. I have family on both sides in Connecticut.

We should do some trips. We haven't been away much in the past 5 years. You have some pretty wonderful places to visit there too! :)

Oh, GeeBee, thank you so much. Appreciate the compliments and so glad you're going to check out the recipe. I thought the Yankee Pot Roast sounded like a good one to try. I love pot roast, but my mom always cooked hers with just a rump roast, onions, carrots, and potatoes, so that's the way I do it. Sure smells good cooking, too.

I, too, think the Mystic Seaport looks like the neatest place to visit - used a picture of it in the "Places to Go" part. It's so pretty!
