I have an 87. Nice car, really like it, but I’d go for the LT1. 50HP boost from 91 to 92. You can get a nice mid mileage 92-93 for around $8k-$9k.
92 was the first year of the LT1. How were they for mechanical reliability that year? My dad has a 96 with 80k miles and it’s immaculate, but I know that sometimes first model year designs can have some glitches.
