Any suggestions as to who else is out there to listen to from 6am-9am in the NYC area or on the internet. I tried to listen to this schmuck for 5 minutes and I cant get through it.

Who is Don Imus, and why does anyone care what he thinks?

If it were not for “war criminals” such as Vice President Cheney, Imus and many fools and idiots of his ilk would have as of now been made headless by the followers of the pimp and pedophile a/k/a muhammad.

'Cheney Still A War Criminal, Hillary Still Satan'I guess that's "fair and balanced". I am glad he's back, he's always entertaining even though I rarely agree with him. His return has to piss-off hilary and sharpton which is good enough for me

I didn't listen to him before and don't plan to listen anytime in the future.
I don't give a flip what he thinks about any subject.

He had uber liberal (and plagerist) Doris Kearns Goodwin on. The arrogance of that woman forced me to abandon my curiosity and go back to sleep.

I actually watched on TV for the first 1/2Hr.
It was worse than I ever could have imagined. He acted like someone suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

"I will never say anything in my lifetime that will make any of these young women at Rutgers regret or feel foolish that they accepted my apology and forgave me. And no one else will say anything on my program that will make anybody think that I didn't deserve a second chance."
Assuming you can take Mr. Imus at his word, it appears that his surrender to political correctness is worse than absolute, it is messianic. He not only proposes to censor himself but he declares that he will censor others. The victory of political correctness over free speech is complete.
Contrary to what most other posters of this thread have been saying about the quality of Imus' program, I have felt that it was only its edginess which made it even remotely interesting and now he appears to have had that beaten out of him.
Al Sharpton has succeeded in laying down a very sour marker against free speech, against ribald humor, and in support of the chilling effect of political correctness. We are all losers for it.

I’ve been listening for about 15 minutes. It’s abysmal. Imus has effectively been neutered. He will not go after any of his former “close friends,” i.e. Russert, Matthews, Gregory, et al, who turned completely against him. Instead, he will probably embrace them and continue to give them a forum for their liberal pablum.
Meanwhile, he is still exchanging hilarious (cough, cough) bon mots with Chuck McCord and doing the same old lame Bill Clinton/Dr. Phil imitation interviews. Also, his young nurse...uh bride, Dierdre, is now on talking about what a good person she is.
Unlistenable.

This is the only published pic that we ever get to see of the ol’I-man. It dates at least back to the “nappy hoes” flap.
Kinda makes ya wonder, if they can’t come up with a recent pic of the guy, and he looks pretty darn tired in this, what does the ol’ cowboy look like today?? Hmmm?

I understand the Hildebeast part, but what has Dick Cheney done to rate such an accusation?
