I loved your post!

Wanted to add: God spoke Isaiah and Jeremiah to be prophets while they were yet in the womb. Isa. 49:1, 5; Jer. 1:4-5.

God would not call, name and ordain a meaningless blob of tissue. The unborn child is a life having a relationship with God WHILE IN THE WOMB.

Not only that, it's against the Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules.

One would think Saddleback could lose their 501c3 status if the IRS took notice (fat chance... they only take notice of conservatives who breach the rules).

I was living in FL in '92 when Bill&Hill were running the first time. She came to a black church in St. Pete on a Sunday and held a big time political rally in the sanctuary complete with electioneering speeches and all the usual hoopla. IIRC it went on for several hours, and AFAIK there was no protest from the local Pubs and no investigation by the FEC. The Clintons are apparently above the laws that the rest of us must obey.

“The Clintons are apparently above the laws that the rest of us must obey.”

Nah. The words are simply interpreted differently for them. God’s laws or man’s. It’s a bit tricky, I know, but they have the ability to adjust them exactly so that they apply directly to them in one sense, and to you and I in another.

another translation puts it a little more clearly:

Exodus 21

22 “If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury

Seems clear to me that we’re not talking about an abortion but a premature delivery without death.

I am not an advocate for abortion, but when I read that passage, I see that it is not about murder

The Exodus passage you quoted concerns an accidental miscarriage, not a deliberate abortion. Our current criminal laws treat someone who causes the death of an innocent person by accident much differently than someone who intentionally commits a murder.

Bible passages such as one of David's psalms make it quite clear that a baby in the womb is a living human being, and the deliberate killing of an innocent human being was murder in God's eyes in biblical times and is murder in God's eye's today no matter what society and man-made laws say about it. The only morally permissible justification for aborting a living but unborn baby is if the abortion is absolutely necessary to save the mother's life, and that is a rare occurrence according to testimony given before Congress by medical doctors.

Absolutely!

All the pro-abortionists are going to have an unpleasant time in the hereafter.

Let them defend their words out here.

I don't know where 'out here' is, but I do know what down there refers to.

I've defended my words and must insist that the Biblical reference clearly defines the deliberate murder of an unborn as murder.

But then you knew that all along.

Oh, you mean from some who CLAIM to have been in the Craft.

Even so, if they are former members and they are breaking their obligations to the Craft, it means that they lied under oath.

Furthermore, if you don’t have any first hand knowledge, but are running around spouting some hearsay conspiracy garbage using information from a known liar...then keep on looking silly. I’m sure others will be entertained.

As for me, I’m done. Have a nice life.

So Mote It Be.

I believe that it is wise to be able to defend oneself’s positions with knowledge and rational thinking. I have seen that particular Exodus passage used to justify positions.

I forget the exact dates, but several months before my daughter was actually born, I was able to actually listen to her heartbeat while we were at a GYN appointment.

It was an amazing experience for me. I shall never forget it, and I still recall it vividly.

If anyone were to extinguish that heartbeat, at that stage of life, then it would be in my opinion a murder.

OK, have it your way. Your position implies the masons are so incompetent that they are overwhelmed by the wife of a former President who couldn’t pull her own butt out of a bag if her life depended on it. Throughout all of American polity, no Mason or group thereof is capable since the late 60’s of competing with the likes of Hillary Clinton.

(IMHO, the former position makes a lot more sense, but feel free to corner yourself and your brethren into a reputation of incompetence.)

BTW, one facet of masonry which I find incredibly absurd is that for all the appeal to the occult and spiritism, it doesn’t dawn on them that those who simply have faith alone in Christ alone, have been indwelt by all three persons of the Godhead. Where their occultic conspiracies demand secrecy, God remains faithful to either let them play their hands out as an eternal memorial of their infidelity to Him, and/or lets His believers see right through their secrecy, no matter how hidden they seek to make their plans.
