DH covers illegal immigration, China cheating on trade, 2nd Amendment, never apologizing for America and homosexuals in the military...
BTW he handled Hillary's Gay General plant very well...
Thanks for posting, been waiting to see what Duncan had to say. Didn’t get to watch the debate.
Yes, he did. I also liked his correcting Jay on the proper handling of firearms. All his answers were quite good, very favorable response from the audience.
Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson: The true conservatives!!
Rudy McRombee must be stopped!
Excellent WalterSkinner, as always... And thanks a bunch!
Man, the crowd seemed genuinely fired up for Hunter... Is that the case, or were they fired up in general? This is about the best reception I have seen him get in the Debates...

Crude word count at debate
% of words spoken by the candidates at tonights Youtube debate...
Giuliani 21.7% Romney 20.5% Huckabee 13% McCain 13% Thompson 11.5% Paul 9% Hunter 5.8% Tancredo 5.5%
He should be making great inroads but isn’t. I just don’t get it. He’s one of the best idea men of all the candidates and yet he can’t get traction. I think he is a great and honorable man. And meanwhile, the Huckster IS rising in the ranks, heaven knows why. He’s the second slickster to come out of Hope, Arkansas.
I don’t know why that last post came out with all that gibberish.....let’s try it again.

American is relying on the MSM to tell them who to vote for, who not to waste your time on, and who can win against Hillary.
FRED THOMPSON was very Presidential in his responses. I hope that those who passed him over because of the MSM will take another look. I also wonder sometimes if those being polled are actually being truthful with the interviewer. The polls are designed to limit your responses and to be held to one of their choices. That skews any poll. They are also not telling you how many people who just hang up on them.
ST. PETERSBURG, Florida (CNN) During Wednesday night's CNN-YouTube debate retired brigadier general Keith Kerr, posed a powerful question about gays in the military. The general had been invited to attend the debate and was given an opportunity to address whether his question was answered.
Following the debate, CNN learned that Kerr was listed as a member of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Americans For Hillary Clinton Steering Committee.
CNN Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of the debate, David Bohrman, says, "We regret this, and apologize to the Republican candidates. We never would have used the General's question had we known that he was connected to any presidential candidate."
Prior to the debate, CNN had verified his military background and that he had not contributed any money to any presidential candidate.
Following the debate, Kerr told CNN that he's done no work for the Clinton campaign. He says he is a member of the Log Cabin Republicans and was representing no one other than himself.
..nah, he didn't know...
Excellent work once again!
McCain was the most dignified, but was hurt on immigration ("It wasn't amnesty")
Romney was nervous, defensive, and back on his heels all night.
Rudy likes the sound of his own voice and does not come across as genuine. He stepped in it big time on guns, and on twisting around his position on the authority of Scripture. He left one wondering: What is the guiding principle in his life?
Huckabee was good in the debate - personable, funny, and genuine.
Fred was good, not great, somewhat like Nixon in the 1960 debate. He did have his moments, like the funny comment: "For a moment I was afraid that was me!"
Tancredo breathed fire. Like Hunter, he "gets" it.
Ron Paul, wrong as he is on foreign policy,
Unwavering support for Duncan from here, abroad.
2ndDivisionVet,
I know that I have had my differences this PRIMARY season.... especialy with the FredHeads... your comment struck a chord in me that I had to reply to...
I believe that if ALL conservatives do not rally behind a SINGLE candidate in the PRIMARY we will allow Rudy McRombee to STEAL the GOP nomination, and we will have only ourselves to blame.. I am convinced that Rudy McRombee CAN NOT win the GENERAL election, and we will have the HildaBEAST for at least the next 4 years maybe 8... and again.. we will ONLY have ourselves to blame...
There are MANY conservatives who WILL NOT vote for Rudy McRombee, even if they KNOW it will result in a HildaBEAST victory.. and to be honest I am starting to lean that way myself.. simply for the fact that the GOP will get EXACTLY what it deserves, if we fail to unite behind a REAL conservative.. of course many FReepers and I disagree on who that conservative is.... And that is the way it should be... this early in the PRIMARY SEASON on FreeRepublic.... that is which the PRIAMRY is for... But as the primaries get closer we really need to take a serious look at what we are doing to OURSELVES.... :)
Do you agree with this analysis?
I buy that as much as I do sHillary's "I don't recall" statements....

I agree... Time for a process of elimination. Line up all the true Conservatives who have never uttered the words "path to citizenship", and lets pick from them.
