I see where he was an Assistant US Attorney. Is that what you are referring to.
Mitt hasn't been directly working to bump up his numbers in the national polls but it appears that he's getting a modest boost nonetheless.
The charts also suggest that Huckabee's "surge" has topped out, perhaps as his Jimmy Carter-style southern-fried Christian Socialism has become more heavily publicized.
In the meantime, Giuliani clearly is using Huckabee to undermine Romney in Iowa in lieu of actually working for votes there himself. The conniving Huckabee is happy to oblige, for he covets Giuliani's VP slot.
Can you imagine Rudy's social liberalism wedded to Huckabee's fiscal liberalism? *Gag*
The most dramatic trend is Fred's continuing collapse. Most of his recently-departed support appears to have gone to Huckabee, which makes sense, unfortunately. I would take Fred over Huckabee any day.
