RUDY-RIPPING THOMPSON TRASHES APPLE (Giuliani's gun-grabbing misfires with voters)
NY POST ^ | November 24, 2007 | GEOFF EARLE, Post Correspondent, Post Wire Services

Posted on 11/24/2007 4:13:28 AM PST by Liz

Fred Thompson ....campaigning at a NH gun store..... told reporters Giuliani too often turns to his time as NYC mayor to explain his support for stronger gun restrictions. "....he was at bill-signing ceremonies with NY Sen Chuck Schumer and President Clinton and others for gun-control legislation over the years. Of course, he's not as outspoken about it any more."

[ I dumped my wife for my mistress, don’t talk
to my kids, was honored by NARAL, donated to Planned Parenthood, marched for gay rights under the NAMBLA banner, appointed gays and pedophiles
to top city jobs, and coddled illegals with gov’t freebies.”]

He marched for the North American Men and Boy Love Association and appointed them to top jobs in city government and wore dresses on a regular basis and wants gun control and coddled illegal immigrants, and people wonder why he is despised by moral people as a liberralllllllll?
The rinos are liberals.

Do you have a web address that supports this statement? That would be interesting information to pass along to others.

From the Koran: 9.29: Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

9.30: And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Rudy is the best guy to deal with the greatest threat to our civilization as we know it. Unless we defeat Islam, nothing else matters!

Fred should zing the Drag Queen some more on his NYC background. I think it would resonate well in real America. Most of us can’t stand NYC anyway and it would make him look more like a regular person, rather than an inside-the-beltway former lobbyist.

And the NYC MSM would report it. They would slam Fred, yet it would boost his profile in the rest of the country.

You misread me. Rudy is not “my boy” but I will vote for whichever Republican wins the nomination.

Asking me why I am registered at FR shows your arrogance. Looking through your posts I see you spewing out insult after insult at other Freepers. Not nice.

How? not sure. But he is committed to do so. Rudy was the keynote speaker at a management meeting in New Orleans a few years ago (Entergy). I was able to get a few minutes with him. He understands the threat. I never thought anyone could clean up Time Square. Rudy did it. He's tough and he won't back down to the terrorists.

female talking head remarking that Red State America is so gullible and ignorant that we all believe all the hero hype about Rooty and are impressed by it.

She really said that? Hard to believe.

I would think using words like "Red State America is so gullible and ignorant" would get her pulled off the air right then and there.

Amazing.

She didn’t use those exact words, but the meaning was there.

She said since most of us did not know about the sentiments of the NYPD and much of the flap in NYC against Rooty.

In otherwords, we are all snowballed because we don’t know any better.

Lame argument because what Red State America doesn’t know yet, will certainly become known in due time.

What was that about you being a conservative again Rudey?

Let's see, he supports massive gun control, abortion on demand, a virtual fence at the border that'll stop virtually no one, and amnesty for the "good" illegal aliens, whatever that means. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of the man's agenda. At least he would have been a great candidate for the democratic primaries though.

Mike "Open Borders for Jesus" Huckabee.

I hear a lot about this. I think it all stems back to his comment that he'd allow the children of illegals to have an education in the public schools or qualify for scholarships in college. Said something about not holding the sins of the parents against the children. Is that all of it? Or have there been other statements indicating a RINO-like desire to open "welcoming arms" to folks who will do the jobs that Americans don't want to do...

I'm a high school teacher deep in the inner city and I've been there for almost ..... lessee .... (gulp) 12 years of an 18 year career. Maybe that experience has mollified my views on this but I kinda sorta support that notion. Probably unwilling to do flame-war battle to the death with other freepers, but I'm not terribly uncomfortable with that as long as it's NOT in conjunction with some sort of amnesty program! IOW if a kid's parents are undetected, let the kid continue but don't contrive some sort of defense to keep the whole family in the USA if there's been INS action to expel the family. Does that make sense? Probably not.

I wouldn't be upset with a Huckabee candidacy. He's extremely electable especially when contrasted to anybody the RATS run especially Hillary. His only "sticking" point would be, I would think, his position as a Baptist minister. My own father-in-law holder of the Navy Cross from WWII has reservations on this. He's 85 and can't stop raging about Jimmy the Peanut Carter. Carter was a southern Governor who pushed his Christianity with a shovel. I've tried to point out Carter's ties to CFR and the trilateralists.

I don't want to jump the gun here, but has anybody started envisioning potential ticket match ups? Who would provide the best balance to insure victory? Any VP candidates floating around besides potential running mates to be found among the candidates themselves?

Why am I not surprised that when Rudy was involved that "Stonewall Veterns" wasn't for decendents of the men following General Jackson?

Fred is of the conviction that the nomination is in the hands of real voters who will vote in real voting boothes, not in the hands of MSM pollsters, MSM pundits, or screwy causcases in Tommy Harkin’s Ioway.

It's outrageous to think that Rudy is the only (or even the best) Republican to aggressively fight the WOT (Paul doesn't even count).

Just for discussion purposes, ask them what would Rudy do different than President Bush (or any other Republican)?

Push more gun control?

Sue gun manufacturers?

Expand sanctuary cities?

Encourage more illegal immigration by telling illegals that they are not really illegal?

Allow gays to openly serve in the military?

Make solid appointments to important positions like his recommendation to President Bush of Bernie Kerik to head Homeland Security?

Put an emergency command centers in the most likely targets (like he did in NY)?

It's absolutely outrageous to think that we need a LIBERAL to aggressively and successfully fight the WOT. LIBERALS like Rudy (and all his liberal buddies) need to be kept as far away as possible from the White House!!!

The internet is soooooo much fun! You can make anything up and never have to support it with facts, such as When did Rudy march for NAMBLA? or Who from NAMBLA did he appoint to a op city jobs?

How is stating the simple fact that “York City is not emblematic of the rest of the country” in any way “trashing” the Big Apple?

Which Rudynista writes the Post’s headlines, anyway?

From the New York Times, March 8, 1994----
Democratic lawmakers praised the Mayor's push for gun control. "It would be great if Mayor Giuliani could become the point Republican pushing comprehensive gun control legislation," said Representative Charles E. Schumer, the Brooklyn Democrat who is the leading proponent of handgun control in the House of Representatives.

A liberal bully President Giuliani and Chuckie Schumer will have LOTS of chances to work together in a bi-partisan manner on this and many other issues. /s
