I would prefer that Christian adults of Anglo-Saxon culture rule the world but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon, if ever. Meanwhile, we’re stuck with BCE and CE.
I'm not. If someone says BCE to me I usually say "What's that?" "You must mean before Christ." "Have you ever heard of Christ?" "Let me tell you what He did for me." "He did this for anyone who has faith in Him" "Would you like to give your life to Him and be saved?" "That's why for thousands of years, the majority of the world marked his birth and death and resurrection with BC and AD." The cultures and religions that don't, will go the way of the Hittites or Canaanites. How many Philistines exist today? There has been and always will be lost people, you don't have to be one of them.
If someone explains CE as "The Common Era", what was common about it? Why do even the Japanese and Chinese know what I'm saying when I say I will be in Tokyo Dec. 20th? If you ask a Chinese guy when the Ming Dynasty was, does he say " The year of the water rat" or 1368? The whole world knows what happened 2000 years ago, why be in denial? What seems wise to men is foolishness to God.
