Does zinc type products such as Zicam help stop or minimize this mutated cold virus? I haven’t had a cold in 3 years and I swear by Zicam.

Neither did I until this. In my situation my wife was on call so I could not escape exposure, especially with the "telephone". I have never experienced anything like it. My advice is the same as others. Wash your hands often and do not touch your face in between hand washings.

We have been married for almost 21 years and I can count the days my wife has missed from illness on one hand. She missed and entire week (and weekend) with this one.
