MEXICO CITY — Mexican President Felipe Calderon took the unusual step Wednesday of injecting himself into U.S. presidential politics, calling Mexican migrants "thematic hostages" of the race and urging candidates not to use them as a talking point.

Speaking at a conference here, Calderon criticized what he called "the growing harassment" of Mexicans in the United States and said his administration will finance a media campaign to underline immigrant success stories.

If Mexican people don’t want to be harassed maybe they should stay home.

Presidents Polk and Wilson knew how to handle invasions from that cesspool. Ike knew how to handle illegal aliens already here.

What none of these political morons seem to get is the difference between illegal and legal immigration. I have no objection to legal immigrants achieving success.

My Father is a perfect example. He immigrated from Sweden in 1920, worked hard, learned English, changed the spelling of his last name from two s’s to one s, (two look more American) joined the Army, fought in WWII and became a citizen, got a good job, and contributed to society.

With the exception of joining the military, isn't that the way it is supposed to work?

Any candidate that doesn’t tell him to ho straight to hell has no business running for President.

I’m glad he is doing this. It is good to hear ‘immigrant success stories’ of people who came here LEGALLY.

In the process he can also educate the media that Mexican is not a synonym for Illegal Alien. Perhaps he might also figure out that Illegal Aliens from all countries are the ‘thematic hostages’ here and its just a matter of lazy and/or deceitful journalism that the meaning of ‘Mexican’, ‘Illegal Alien’, and ‘Immigrant’ are muddied.

Love how the Washpost puts a headline on this that conceals the actual story!

Time to invoke the Monroe Doctrine.

A hostile foreign power (Mejico) is conducting an invasion of another country in the American Hemisphere (us) and is now preparing to establish an active propaganda campaign in same.

Problem is.....the only Monroe Doctrine understood by the yahoos in this country today is the Marilyn Monroe Doctrine.....be blond, bosomy and ditzy and you get to sleep with U.S. presidents and attorneys general.

The more the likes of Calderon flaps his piehole and injects himself into US business, the more resolute we become.

We will not be moved by irritating ad campaigns and threats to our candidates.

By now, everyone of our spoled pansy assed elected leaders knows his butt is on the line in his next election if he keeps trying to force US citizens to accept amnesty and pandering to illegals.

We have all had it up to our ears with the disease, corruption, criminal behavior, and theft of US taxpayer funds by virtue of being forced to give free stuff to illegal lawbreakers.

Our politicians better be telling Calderon to STFU and tend to cleaning up his own hell hole to get ready for when his citizens get sent back over the US border looking for freebies from their own government.

Oh, you sillies. The way it works is to claim your kid's teacher made advances towards him and then you, your kid, and all the cousins, grandparents, inlaws, etc. in the family will be given a free pass.
