Today, in the United States District Court in San Francisco, California, the ACLU has filed suit against the United States over the holidays that are designated as federal holidays were the federal government is closed. They argue that Christmas is the only religious holiday on the list and that it does not recognize religious holidays of other religions and it leaves out atheists. The suit, filed by the ACLU on behalf of several San Francisco plaintiffs, states that those individuals were unfairly discriminated against because they either would not get their religious holiday off or that as an atheist, they were given second billing.

It would not do me nor my family any good to meet the ACLU
Well, we were all wondering when it was going to happen........
Satire,,,but we’re still waiting
Won’t be long til this is a real story.
Todays satire will be tomorrows fact.
I know this is satire, but wasn’t the issue brought to the SCOTUS and it decided that the historical and cultural elements outweighted the religious element?
This is not satire. It is the news in the very, very near future.
100%
atheists already have a day of their own. April Fools Day
Well there's their first error..Christmas is not the only Religious holiday on the list..
"Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to "recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:" - George Washington 10.3.1789
So get ready to cancel Thanksgiving too...
If someone took out the entire a.c.l.u. leadership and I were on a grand jury I’ve vote no to indict.
