I've never started a prayer request thread but my mom who is 84 is in the ER with a heart attack. I spoke with her last on Friday and she did not sound good. I will probably be on the road tomorrow, I would go tonight if my vision was better. She is Catholic as I am so if you pray the rosary which she has done every day for so many years, please add her name -Bernice- to your other intentions. Thanks from my heart.
So sorry for the loss of your mom. Prayers for you and your family.
That was beautiful. Never heard it before and how ironic that you heard this on the way to your mom’s service. Maybe that was her way of telling you she was ok now and tht she truly is a bloom in the Master’s Bouquet. Peace be with you.
BTTT
Peace to you and yours.
Be mindful, O Lord, of all those who have fallen asleep in the hope of resurrection unto life eternal, pardon all their transgressions both voluntary and involuntary, whether in word, or deed, or thought. Shelter them in a place of verdure, a place of repose, whence all sickness, sorrow and sighing have fled away, and where the sight of thy countenance rejoiceth all thy Saints from all the ages. Grant them thy heavenly Kingdom, and a portion in thine ineffable and eternal blessings, and the enjoyment of thine unending Life.
I'm so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. God Bless her in her passing. God Bless and comfort you and your family.
Prayers continue
God bless, my dear.
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. God be with you and comfort you during this painful time.
We’ll all be with you in spirit and in our prayers as you leave tomorrow for your mother’s funeral — and in the days ahead.
Have a safe trip.
You’ve been on my mind. I’m so sad to learn of your Mom’s passing. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
MomwithHope: Your floral arrangement sounds lovely and so appropriate. I will pray for you and your family in your loss, and hope you are comforted by the thought of Bernice being with RWR and her Creator. God Bless you all.
Thanks so much for telling us about your mom. She sounds like a great lady. Always nice to hear a little about what the person was like. So sorry she passed on.
She had a very sharp mind all right, like a razor. Nothing got by her. Besides all the talk radio she listened to she could play 18 bingo cards at once and solve Wheel of Fortune puzzles with one letter showing!
No matter your age, you never reach one where losing your Mom wouldn’t hurt.
She was a faith filled woman and has gone onto a place beyond suffering...She is standing in the presence of the Lord.
Your human hurt will take time...I’ve stood in your place through losing both of my parents...It’s hard to think of a world without them..It is hard to figure out how to do it.
With time you smile again...With time the good memories will crowd out the ache of loss.
Your Mom has left this world but she isn’t gone...Her love remains...God is not the God of the dead but of the living..and she is living with him now..
One day every tear will be wiped away.
During your time of heart ache and loss may the Lords loving hand be with you..
See? When you listen to talk radio and play or hear about those who play bingo you will think of her. You were blessed. Now you have your own special guardian angel. :)
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your mother, you & your family....~Pandora~
The music my brother-in-law heard after my mom passed away was the Christmas Canon-Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

It snowed the night after her funeral and we all went out and played in it the next day like we were kids again.
I will add yur dear Mom when I pray the Rosary tonight.
