Triangulation returns
By Salena Zito TRIBUNE-REVIEW Sunday, November 11, 2007
Clintonese, Clintonspeak and Clintonesque. Three words that describe the art of political triangulation are back in the American lexicon, thanks to Hillary Clinton's presidential candidacy.
"Triangulation," the brainchild of former Clinton strategist Dick Morris for Clinton-Gore '96, is a pejorative to some; it's double-talk, parsing and waffling at its worst. But for others, such as Democrat strategist Steve McMahon, that reputation is undeserved.
"What it really does is recognize that, in order to get things done, you have to sometimes satisfy competing factions," he says.

What it really does is recognize that, in order to get elected, Democrats need to conceal what they really want to do from the public under a mountain of lies.
well said.
“She can’t sell the lie with a smirk.”
Most amazing, ain’t it? She lies. We know she is lying. She knows we know she is lying. We know she knows we know she is lying. By this point, “Aw, shucks” Bill would be a-chucklin’ and winkin’, gawking at some cute girl’s boobs and winning many of us over on pure, Good Ol’ Boy, Southern charm. She, however, closes the deal by simply glaring silently, staring down those whom she thinks might be inclined toward calling her bitter bluff.
don't forget that cackle of it's!
Watch for the Rodham-rodent to imply that if she’s installed in the White HOuse, the sinkEmperor will be an integral force there to be reckoned with. Democrat voters will like that implication. She has discovered —or should we say her handler, sinkEmperor, has discovered of late— that she cannot get elected on her own so she needs the degenerate she’s stuck to all these decades for empowerment.
Very perceptive.
When you have to pretend that you believe that the Constitution actually matters while in fact you believe its language to be an obstacle to “social progress,” your language is not going to be as confident.
They despise the language of the Consitution but they can’t openly say it... They must playact. They can never, ever say what they mean. That’s why they sound unsure of themselves.
The lie, for all its power, always trembles in the face of truth.

Ah, the syncophantic press. If there’s anything to make the Clintons look poorly, then some reporter will rise to the occasion and make it look positive. If the Clintons approved of slavery, the media would suddenly write articles about the happy slaves amid the cotton. If the Clintons wanted Kristalnacht, the media would start writing glowing articles about repressed rage and how the shop owners deserved the treatment they got. I guess I might as well take a deep breath and expect much more of this kind of treatment about Hillary.
