Both students will go through GW's judicial system to determine whether any D.C. or federal laws were violated.Huh? I know colleges have become pretty repressive places but since when did they become part of the criminal justice systems?

And now, this word from the Columbia University noose investigation: crickets.
To: Nick Thimmesch
A student who complained of swastikas being drawn on a dorm room door has admitted responsibility for them, George Washington University officials say. Just one more reason why we usually view these claims with a healthy dose of skepticism. This all started with that silly noose at Jena and has been followed by a bunch of attention-seeking copycats.

It's as stupid as if I found one of these on the way into my office and claimed somebody left it there to call me a honkey.

Any updates on the Columbia noose case and who the video showed doing it? I haven’t seen a story about it since they turned the video over to police.
