John Kerry said Monday there might be a next time for his presidential aspirations, and if there is, the 63-year-old U.S. senator from Massachusetts says he’ll be ready for the political torpedoes that helped sink his 2004 White House bid. Kerry, whose service as a U.S. Navy Swift boat skipper during the Vietnam War came under attack in his race against President Bush, said he has compiled a dossier on his war record critics that he wishes he had as the Democratic presidential nominee.

What’s he saying, that he plans on running against President Romney in 08?

John Kerry can do all the opposition research he wants on the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth, but he cannot erase his disgusting, shameful and perjured testimony before the House in 1971.

It has been 1009 days since “Reporting for Duty” agreed to release his complete military records including his medical records. Can anyone guess how long it will take before he accomplishes this mission?

He thinks we voted against him because of what the swift boat vets said he did in Vietnam. In a way, yes, but only as a side issue. The main issue was what he did when he came BACK from Vietnam, his declaring American soldiers war criminals. The swift vets didn’t make that (or any other) stuff up. It’s all there, a matter of public record, waiting for him the next time he “reports for dooty”.

And, by the way, JFn, you CONTINUE to label American soldiers war criminals.

So sure, report for dooty again. We’ll all be waiting for you. We’re all ready, willing and able to shoot you down again.

Gotta admit JFK was funny. Mary Mapes and Dan Rather are the ones who really torpedoed his run, however. What a lame stunt.

If Kerry had any stones he would have run again for '08, but he's a total coward and didn't want to go head-to-head against the Clinton smear machine.

There isn't going to be any next time, he already had his chance and lost. He's only getting older and uglier, and all the Botox in the world can't stop that.

{wavering of hands + wide-eyed mock fear}: "oooooooooh!"

So show your cards now, Johnny. What's that??? You're not? Then you don't have a hand worth betting.

You're bluffing, you sad-sack of a soul.

My guess is he smells blood in the water over the Hillary missteps and he is positioning should he see an opening. Perhaps guaging interest at the same time...
