Even though several people are trying to make this into a scandal, Fred is guilty of nothing. There has been no wrong doing on Fred's part. Period.
Sometimes the closet is empty and the campaign personnel *still* get routed by the media. Bush had a fund-raiser up in Maine who got chased off because of his connection with a firearms manufacturer.

Because here we are talking about an ASSOCIATE of Fred’s who was guilty of crimes over 20 years ago, with no indication he’s done anything bad since.
