I was looking through a novel of mine, and on a blank front page I noticed these words, written in pen, “ya know,” “ya know,” “ya know.” These two words formed two columns, and it was written in my hand. I had no idea what it meant. Then I remembered. I was listening to a Hillary interview, trying to keep count of the “ya know”s. I lost track. Maybe I’ll do the same with Randi, but I’ll try to count the “freakin”s.
